The bathroom’s open design focuses attention on each fixture, and the contrast between the Italian slate gray tile and white fixtures creates an elegant look.
The most dominating fixture is the stand-alone, deep spa tub with massaging jets -- an island of comfort in the new bathroom. The Italian gray tiles frame the spa, climbing up the side of the wall and skirting around the sides of the spa’s custom-built chase.
A dramatic counterpoint to the spa is the large walk-in shower. The glass doors provide a view to the Italian tile lining the shower, the shower seat, recessed niche and the handsome and high-tech brushed-nickel Kohler shower system.
The slate gray tiles also comprise the flooring, leading to the white, custom built cabinet for the sink and white cultured marble countertop. A white linen cabinet and two windows with white-painted window frames complete the harmonization of design and fixtures in the Bearden bathroom.
